Barn conversion at Cropthorne

This was the conversion of a redundant agricultural building to provide additional accommodation to the main house. The building is located in a conservation area and the design had to be sensitive to this. The new layout was designed with minimal intervention to the existing structure. A mezzanine level was introduced to give much needed additional floor space.
